and before you can say a word of praise
in terms of his recovering nervous system
- as last week, he still couldn't feel his legs at all -
you might want to rethink your words,
and instead comment on his improved dexterity in his hands
as those fingers that have been so clumsy since the accident
are currently wrapped around your wallet.
